Designed by João Timóteo and Helena Fernandes, Mocho is a traditional Portuguese bench with a log seat and supports made of cut wood intended for campsites and living areas with fireplaces. The all-natural bench fits perfectly outdoors in the woods or within the rare indoor environment where sawdust and flecks of bark are welcomed.
It not only provides unique seating arrangement but also acts as a social topic of interest and a form of physical activity as users can get to ‘adjust’ the length of the Mocho simply through trimming the bench to one’s desire with a handsaw.
